Phyllis Russell, Director
I enjoy working at Esperanza En Escalante because I meet a variety of interesting people who we are able to help take from homeless to independent living. Additionally, life at EEE is always an adventure and things are always changing.
Pat Beauchamp, Director of Operations
What do I like about working at Esperanza En Escalante–great people to work with and the opportunity to serve fellow veterans get back on their feet.
Mayra Forrester, Office Manager
I have never worked for a company that feels like working with my family. In the good sense. We all work hard and are recognized for doing so.
Angela "Angie" Kern, Program Coordinator
I love that my job challenges me every day in different ways. I am able to use my skills and knowledge and EEE provides an environment for professional development and growth. I love the people I work with. They are my family and a pleasure to work with and they make it enjoyable to come to work everyday. I love being a part of something larger that makes a difference for our community and our veterans that served our country.
Sheryl Janda, Finance Manager
I like the personal flexibility and independence but mostly appreciate the goal of providing purpose, privacy, and dignity to our residents.
Michael St. Ores, Case Manager
As a veteran myself, working here gives me the opportunity to use my passion to help those in need.
Andrea McCammon, Case Manager
Coming from a military family, my passion is to assist veterans experiencing homelessness to help resolve issues standing between them and permanent housing. Esperanza En Escalante also recognizes the therapeutic bond between human and animal, thus allowing veterans entering the transitional housing program to keep their pets. I provide grooming and training services free of charge for our veterans’ animals, as my background of being a former vet tech, groomer, and K-9 trainer has benefitted our veterans with pets.
Charles Mitchell, Driver
Sense of purpose & giving back to those that gave so much and have been left in need.
Thelma "Sam" Smith, Housekeeping
I love working at Esperanza En Escalante because it allows me to serve my local community and give back to those who fought to preserve our freedom.
